Dr Mustafe M. Abdi is a senior consultant researcher at the Rift Valley Institute, with more than 30 years of experience in dealing with cross border conflicts, refugee crisis, and state building processes. Dr. Mustafe has carried out research for LSE CRP, IGAD’s CEWARN, and most recently the Rift Valley Institute’s X-border programme.
