Jessica Olney

The Asia Foundation

Jessica Olney is a practitioner, researcher and facilitator with 15 years of experience in South and Southeast Asia. She has led studies and written analyses on the Rohingya crisis for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (Australia), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), The Asia Foundation and the Peace Research Institute Oslo. She currently serves as Visiting Researcher at the Centre for Peace and Justice, Brac University.

Jessica is a Research Lead for XCEPT at The Asia Foundation. She leads research by the X-Border Local Research Network on the Rohingya refugee crisis
